For the last few years the event has been held at the Hammersmith Apollo, however this year it took place at the Wembley Arena.
An addition level was added into this years showdown: the Head2Head wherein two rival teams battle. It also included performances by the Bhangra Showdown President Jazzy B with a full live band, Violinder, Roach Killa, and Benny Dhaliwal.
The show was hosted by Noreen Khan and Tommy Sandhu from the BBC Asian Network. Every year, the showdown donates all of the profits to charity. The Charities for 2015 include: Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), UK Friends of the Unique Home (Punjab), and Variety: The Children’s Charity.
