Into-Sport is a new programme that combines a range of physical activity sessions on an informal basis with Intramural Sport.
Intramural Sport is a programme, launching on the 24th November, which provides students the opportunity to participate in organised and regular fixtures with four sports being offered this year: Basketball, Badminton, Netball and Football. Intramural is a great way to meet new people and have an entry route into sport. To become part of the Intramural programme, all students need to do is to purchase Sports Federation Membership for £22.50 and sign up via sports pad in teams. The sign up period is from the 26th October to the 18th November. All the sport equipment and facilities are provided for you.
We encourage students of all sporting ability to get involved in some way, shape or another. So whether you are living on campus or off campus, part of a society or team or just want to play sport recreationally with your friends, get involved. For more information about the Intramural programme please email firstname.lastname@example.org
All fixtures will take place on campus at the Sports Centre or Sports Park which is only a 5 minute walk away from most University Halls of Residences.
Additionally, if participating in sport is not for you, try out our range of recreational activity sessions that are available on a pay as you go basis. This includes swimming, aerobics, self-defence classes, legs bums and tums, cardio tennis plus much more. All this information with cost, timings and locations can be found out from the Sports Centre reception.
